Centenary Ashcroft LLP is the development and asset manager for the redevelopment of Anglia Square. The company is a joint venture between Ashcroft Estates PLC and Centenary Asset Management LLP which, between them, have over 20 years in developing and managing shopping centres and mixed use developments, with a combined value of over £2 billion.
Currently, Ashcroft is involved with the £200 million redevelopment of Barnsley town centre to provide 475,000 sq ft of retail and leisure, together with a 1,200 space car park and 108 residential flats.
Within East Anglia, Centenary (in conjunction with Miller Developments) is responsible for a 100,000 sq ft extension to Market Gates Shopping Centre in Great Yarmouth. This is due to be completed in Autumn 2008, with pre-lets agreed with Debenhams and New Look. Additionally, Centenary is the asset manager for The Guineas (formerly The Rookery) shopping centre in Newmarket.
Centenary Ashcroft is also involved in the procurement and development of another mixed-use regeneration scheme in the London Borough of Southwark, which is likely to comprise a food store of 70,000 sq ft with an additional 200,000 sq ft of retail plus 4-500 residential units.
Stanley Bragg Architects are based in Colchester and have been established for more than 50 years. They have extensive expertise over a wide range of design and building commissions throughout the UK and have won awards for city developments and historic/restoration projects.
The practice has experience of shopping centres, out-of-town centres, mixed use schemes, offices, both new build and refurbishment, together with hotels and related facilities.
Currently Stanley Bragg Architects are involved in projects ranging from modest residential developments to £90 million Urban Regeneration Projects.
The practice has achieved national recognition for its work in major town centre redevelopments and has secured Civic Awards for its designs in sensitive historic locations.
